Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert, is featured on CNN and HLN's numerous platforms. In March 2012, Bonnie will serve as the expert on TV, executive producer and host of a DIY NETWORK special, entitled THE LAST HOUSE RESISTING. Her first book EXTREME WEATHER published Palgrave Macmillan on January 31, 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. When she was in Boston, she also provided reports on lifestyle and entertainment as an assignment reporter for three days a week. She was the Saturday weather forecaster at WFOR-TV Miami before joining WB56. She worked as a meteorologist and reporter for News 12 Long Island, a 24-hour television broadcasting network that is a cable. WXII-TV is the NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem located in North Carolina. Her other job was as a fill-in on occasion for The Saturday Early Show in New York City for CBS.
